My close friend (and guest blogger), Beth, is leaving in a few days for Rwanda. I am always impressed with her fearlessness and gumption. She agreed to blog about her journey through my site!! First entry coming soon!!!
Juste un petit mot pour vous dire que j'adore OTH et plus particulièrement votre rôle de haley, dommage que ce soit fini et dommage que l'on ne puisse pas trouvé d'album de vous en France. Bonne journée
Wow - can't wait to read her entries. Love reading stories about someone's journey in Africa. I have been in Togo, Westafrica, last summer for the first time and had great experiences working with women and children there (my mom founded an association to help them because a lot of their husbands are living in Europe or in America to find a job).
Good luck to your friend Beth and may she is gonna have a blast there!
Dear Joy It's wonderful that people are still those who are brave, strong and not afraid to show. With great pleasure I will wait for further posts. People who inspire us to something that these people are pure treasure. We must do everything to make our lives were full of such people.
I cannot wait to read about her adventure! I spent two summers in Uganda. Once to do volunteer work in a school and another time to carry out a Disease Prevention Program (that I created and won a grant through my college for) through basic health and hygiene education in a set of Ugandan schools. I miss it everyday. Good luck Beth!
two years ago I read an amazing book called Left To Tell about a woman who survived the genocide in Rwanda and how she spent a bunch of months in a bathroom with 6 others praying every day and grew so intimate with the Lord in that time period. It was so detailed what she went through before going into hiding and afterwards, losing her family and having to learn about forgiveness. Truly I recommend it. it's by Immaculee Ilibagiza. I read it in three hours because I couldn't put it down. usually I read a book a week.
I really look forward to the blog post about what your friend has experienced in her journey as the pieces are still being picked up in that country.
Hi! Sorry, nothing about Rwanda but hope you have fun :) eally don't want to get you upset as a fan but I wished you would accept to get in touch with me, I want to talk about acting, I already sent messages to some other actresses but still not have any answer.. If you accept you can contact me on aylinel@hotmail.com . Thanks a lot :)
I had the pleasure of meeting Beth in August at my 2 day visit to the One Tree Hill set. She is one of the nicest people. I hope she has a great trip and I can't wait to read about it here.
I don't know your baby(Maria)but I've seen this happen to people I know. I'm gonna give you some constructive criticism for your own good :) Don't people please your way through life. Don't use your baby (child) as a way to excuse your behavior. When you want to nurse your baby, nurse her. When you wanna be with her, be with her :) Your child needs her Mother and not 'publicity'. You're a Mother; look after her :) and One Tree Hill is not your 'job' anymore :)
p.s. Please don't write back. I just gave you advice for your own good :)
That's amazing! Go Beth!
ReplyDeletePS. I was lucky enough to attend the OTH event in LA. You looked gorgeous!
Just want you to know I am a HUGE fan.... I am sad the show is ending :(
