Hi Guys-- This is something I've been meaning to post for quite some time and I hope it's not too late...While on tour with Tyler Hilton and the Wreckers I often wore a beaded necklace that was a gift from a very close girlfriend. The necklace belonged to her Grandmother in the 30's in Italy. One evening, I took the necklace off and left in on the counter on Tyler's bus. When we came back, there had were some fans on the bus and a few hours later (after they were gone) I noticed that my necklace was gone.
I'm sure to someone out there, this little trinket is exciting to have, and I understand why someone would want to take it and imagine that I would never miss it. But to me, this necklace was irreplaceable, even though it was just an inexpensive piece of costume jewelry. Eventually I had to tell my friend that I had lost her grandmother's necklace while on tour and I suspected that someone took it. Very difficult :(
Anyway, here's a photo of the necklace, which I wore on TRL. If you have it or know the person who has it, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE return it. I will not be angry with you, and you can return it anonymously if you want to... I don't care who your are or why you took it, I just want it back-- it means so much to me.

I'd love to help but really truly, we need a few more details......like are they wooden multi-colored beads or are they like murano glass-type beads. Was there a clasp, or just beads all the way around? Were they strung on metal or string or another type of cord type material?

I'm so sorry that someone took something very precious and dear to your heart. I simply don't understand why anyone takes something belonging to someone else.

I can understand also why one might do that. Not that stealing is right at all but you have fans who love you and adore you and just want a piece that you touched, cried on, etc. I also believe you to your word. So it should be returned soon.

Joy, I'm very sorry to hear that your necklace was stolen. If you want to reach more people, you could think of tweeting about it, copy paste this blog to the OTH blog, etc.. Weren't there any security camera's around the place where you left it? Good luck with it, and I hope you get it back soon!

Sorry to hear about the loss of the necklace. Such disrespect towards you and the show. TO take it upon one self to think the necklace had no value. I hope the necklace is returned and with your fan base I'm sure it shall be returned, thanks for the trust to ask openly for the necklace. Kudos for episode 7.16. Great direction, proving just how many talents you possess. Grief has many levels and its effects vary from person to person. Acceptance of loss is difficult to digest but when we are lucky enough to have time with love ones before they die; a true blessing indeed even if we don't realize it at the time. Your sensitivity to this emotional issue validated the depth of emotions felt. I am so glad you were chosen to direct this episode because of your inner sensitivity to those around you. Death has a way of either driving people to their worst or their best. Anticiparatory grief is hard to capture on camera and your take on it was comforting. Thank you! Hope your necklace is returned.

Oh sweet heart, I really hope you find your necklace ... I know how to have something very special of someone and from the moment you receive it,this thing is of extreme sentimental value to us. I wonder how difficult it must be losing it, must be something that really bothers you. I agree with what a lot of other people have said - I'm sure it was thrilling to see something so pretty *right there* (and it sure is gorgeous. I spent a solid year looking for the right glass beads to make myself a copy of it!)... and then to realize it belonged to an actress/singer he/she/they loved? The temptation was just too great.
My only unique comment to add would be to possibly ask Tyler to post a link to your blog on his own? Hit the cross-section of fans that don't already follow both of you, you know?

Your performance tonight was absolutely outstanding and I literally have never cried so much from a television show in my entire life. I actually FELT your pain. I'm sorry to hear that someone would take your beautiful necklace, and while I can't help you out with that, I was searching today for a place to post my compliments to you on your acting in last night's episode. I have been a fan of the show since its inception, but last night was almost too difficult for me to watch. I lost my mother to breast cancer five years ago, and I was one of her primary caregivers. I just wanted you to know that your portrayal of anticipatory grief and your struggles with dealing with a mother's illness were spot-on. The scene that got me the most was when you cut yourself in the kitchen while trying to make your mother's soup. I lived that moment, and your acting was completely accurate. I remember being in my own mother's kitchen, trying to make something that she would eat - something to keep her strength up - and my father was nowhere to be found (he just couldn't handle it), and my sister lived over 1000 miles away. I broke down over the stove and couldn't begin to understand how I would get through the next however-many days. The only difference between my reality and what you portrayed last night was that I didn't have a hottie husband to comfort me. I was alone.
But your performance was scarily accurate. I thought to myself as I watched last night with tears in my eyes, "That was me." So from one actress to another (I do local theatre work in the Louisville area), great job! Keep up the good work. I truly enjoy the show.

Main reason of my post, I've just seen the episode 18 of the season and I have to say that I've never cryed so much since the beginning of the show, it was really emotionnal and I'd like to congratulate you, your sisters and your mother (in the series obviously lol) for this acting performance. This season will be wonderful til the end I guess.

I honestly don't understand the infatuation that people have with owning something from a celebrity. It makes no sense to me at all. I really hope someone out there is honest enough to return it to you.

I remember that concert. I had wanted to go so badly but I was still in Junior high and was too young to go. Also, sadly it was on a school night but you guys were oh so very close to where I lived. It was when you guys were in San Francisco, at time I lived in Martinez. I truly wished I was able to go. I still haven't been able to met you but I am hoping someday all be able to. I truly look up to you, Joy. You music is always different and inspiring. But your acting is truly outstanding, you always have they was of pulling people into your scenes making them feel like they are there. I am very sad to hear someone took your necklace. I wear the same necklace everyday that my aunt had given me; it had belonged to my great grandmother. It's a gold heart and with these words on it 'Never underestimate the power of a woman' I know I'd be truly sad if someone ever stolen it from me. I hope whoever had taken it off your tour bus gives it back.
