On a side note I wanted to let you know that I still DO NOT have a Twitter or Facebook account. I promise I will post a video letting you know if/when I join either of those forums. Until then, you can assume they're fakes.
Thank you all for being so patient as I try to manage my time in such a way that I can keep my website updated frequently. I'm still learning how to do that as suddenly the business of business has become so all-encompassing of my schedule.

Hope you're having a great time in NY, and if you're looking for another place to eat you should check out Ellen's Stardust Diner at Broadway and 51st - it's a really cute diner where the wait staff all take turns singing. It's fun, and the food is really good too :)

ReplyDeleteI looove live jazz. I regret not seeing it more often because there is just something so soothing about being in a jazz club with a few friends. Totally random, but the first time I went to one was in Paris, and I still remember when the bartender (with the monopoly mustache) came downstairs and did the perfect swing dance with a woman in the club. It was one of the moments that came out of a movie.... it was surreal. I know this has nothing to do with anything, but when you mentioned a jazz club, my heart kind of jumped and now I really want to gooooooo!
I'm really looking forward to One Tree Hill next season! I don't know what it is about this show, but I started watching season 1 last November and barely seven days I kind of woke up from the one tree hill daze and was all caught up. It was like eating a bag of lays chips but with less calories.
Thanks for updating. We all know how busy you must be, so it means a lot that you care enough to communicate with us crazy (but awesome) fans when you get the opportunity.
For twitter, just get a verified account if you choose to get one. It's how the site tries to separate the 'for reals' from the 'fakes'.

I've been downloading a whole bunch of your music, and so far, my favourite is "Devil Archerist". I love the music in it! What kind of string instrument(s) was in it? Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
That's one of the many thing that make your music special. You don't use synthesized music, and I think that's wonderful. There's so many I want to learn on the piano! It's really nice to hear instruments like the piano, and the violin being used in different styles of music. Not just the classical styles.
I'm not on Twitter or Facebook, or anything along that line. So, I don't have to worry about people impersonating you!
It's good that you tell people that you don't have Facebook and Twitter. Saves a lot of confusion!

ReplyDeleteI just finished watching season 6 of OTH. (My schedule doesn't allow me to watch it while it's on the air, but I love the DVDs and the extras.) I just wanted to say that I loved this last season, and while I think all of the seasons are great, season 6 was superb. It was great to hear that Chad wrote one of the episodes and that a few of you got a chance to direct episodes. You are all so talented. I have faith this up coming season will be amazing as always and I hope to hear your voice in more episodes. (Both singing and directing.)

ReplyDeleteDespite the fact this comment will get lost in the hundreds that follow i just had to say something. I find your songs so inspiring, they really do lighten up my day. You have a voice and personality i would kill for. Not to mention how pretty you are! I would call you my role model but i'm sure you already have a lot to deal with without the added pressure of that. Anyway, i was glad to see you had started this blog as it's alway great to see what you're up to. I hope to follow in your footsteps one day. In the tv/film industry i mean. I'm not sure anyone would appreciate my singing voice to be honest:P But one day i hope to direct, maybe produce even. Its due to people like you that i have to decided to do this.
